Jazz up plain walls, and even doors, with an easy macrame wall hanging decor.
We have been living in our current home for more than five years now but we haven’t really done any decorating on our walls, yet. Aside from some framed photographs in our living room, that was basically it. So to jazz up our space, I thought of making another easy macrame wall hanging decor to add some character to our interiors.
Last year, I also made an easy macrame wall hanging decor which I hung on our main door. It was very simple yet it gave a nice chic vibe. It was also very easy to do because it was just a series of square knots. But this time around, I challenged myself and made a new design using double half-hitch knots. It took quite a while to master the knot but I love how it turned out!
For this project, I used a cotton rope with 7mm thickness. I was actually thinking of getting those cotton ropes from the hardware but decided to buy it on Lazada instead. There are also similar materials that you can buy from Amazon.
